Sweet Carrot Marinade – a delicious recipe with olive oil, red wine vinegar, basil, oregano, sage, parsley. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

Serves 4 General

Servings: persons

1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried sage
1 tbsp parsley
3 tbsp honey
2 clove garlic minced
3 chopped green onion stalks
2 cup baby carrots

Mix all ingredients together with a spoon in a dish that can go on the bbq (I used a metal loaf pan).

(We wanted to have a quick BBQ so I started these off in the oven first for 30 minutes at 400F, alternatively you could cook them for a couple hours or to desired softness on indirect heat on the BBQ the whole time).

Finished off on the BBQ (direct heat) for 30 minutes for a softer less crunchy carrot (still somewhat crunchy though).
