Ingredients: 3/4 c. breadcrumbs; 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck; 1 c. milk; 1 medium onion, chopped; 1 egg; salt and pepper to taste; oil; 1 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine; 6 to 8 gingersnaps, crushed; 1/2 c. finely packed brown sugar; 3 c. pineapple juice

3/4 c. breadcrumbs
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1 c. milk
1 medium onion, chopped
1 egg
salt and pepper to taste
oil
1 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
6 to 8 gingersnaps, crushed
1/2 c. finely packed brown sugar
3 c. pineapple juice

Mix breadcrumbs, milk, ground chuck, onions and egg.

Form into 1 inch balls and brown in small amount of oil; drain.

Combine butter, gingersnaps, brown sugar and pineapple juice.

Simmer 30 minutes until thick and smooth, stirring occasionally.
