   Cook yolks in 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice and rind of lemon over water in double boiler.

   Beat with beater until creamy. (Note:

   When cooking egg yolk mixture over double boiler, stir frequently and cook to pudding thickness.)

   Then take off stove and beat in gelatin.

   Let it set in hot water while beating egg whites, other 1/2 cup sugar and pinch of salt.

   Beat until stiff peaks form.

   Fold into egg mixture.

   Place in baked shell. Chill overnight.
