1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F).
-
2
Spray a 9 or 10-inch pie plate with cooking spray.
-
3
Lightly flour a clean working surface.
-
4
Roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
-
5
(If using canned pizza dough, just unroll it to the pre-cut size and shape.)
-
6
Cut the dough into long strips, about 2 inches wide.
-
7
Cut each strip into squares, about 2 inches across.
-
8
Place a small amount of filling in the center of each square (about 1 tablespoon of filling per each square).
-
9
Make sure any pre-cooked filling has cooled to room temperature before using it.
-
10
To form the rolls, pinch together the corners of each square, taking care to keep all of the filling tucked inside.
-
11
Place the rolls in the prepared pie plate, working your way from the outside in.
-
12
When the pie plate is full, brush olive oil over the top of the rolls, followed by the garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.
-
13
** If you have time, let the rolls rest for 10 minutes before baking.
-
14
This will give the dough a little time to rise, causing the rolls to puff up and fill in any empty spaces between them.
-
15
If you are in a hurry, go ahead and pop them in the oven right away.
-
16
They will still be just as tasty.
-
17
Bake for 10 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
-
18
Serve hot with sauce on the side for dipping.
