Strawberry Waffles

   Preheat waffle maker on medium heat. Spray with no stick cooking spray.

   Sift flour into a large bowl. Stir in sugar. Whisk milk, butter, egg yolks and vanilla in a medium bowl. Gradually whisk into flour mixture until smooth.

   Beat egg whites in a clean bowl with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Lightly fold into the batter.

   Pour batter into the waffle maker. Close and cook for 4-5 mins, following the manufacturer's directions.

   Toss strawberries with powdered sugar. Spoon on waffles and serve with whipped cream.
