Strawberry Cheese Pie

   Cream the cheese and sour cream together; spread over baked pie shell.

   Prepare strawberries.

   Place 1 cup of strawberries in a saucepan with the water and simmer for 5 minutes.

   Combine sugar and cornstarch; mix with cooked berries, stirring constantly. Cook until syrup is clear and thick.

   Add lemon juice and cool. Put rest of uncooked berries on top of cheese.

   Pour cooked strawberries and syrup on top of strawberries.

   Chill and serve with ice cream or Cool Whip.
