Start with heating the milk, water, and banana into a small saucepan over medium heat. Chop up your banana with a wooden spoon into many small pieces. Allow the mixture to come up to a simmer. It should take about 5 minutes.

Turn the heat to low and add in the oats. Cook on low for about 10 minutes or until tender.

Take the oats off of the heat, and slowly add in egg whites. Stir the oats vigorously as you add in the egg whites to the hot oats. The egg whites bulk up the oats a bit and add to a nice fluffy texture.

When all of the egg whites have been combined, add the strawberries on top and serve with toppings of your choice. My favorites are brown sugar and chopped nuts!
