Mix together until all ingredients are well mixed and disolved.

Place your turkey in sink and wash thouroughly and remove giblets.

Place turkey in a non reactive pot or bucket and pour brine over bird and make sure turkey is covered with liquid. Place in fridge and let the brine do it's thing for 1hr per pound.(24lb turkey=24 hrs in brine)

Remove turkey from brine and wash thoroughly. Discard Brine.

Place turkey on indirect heat in your grill or place in oven at 325 degrees until meat thermometer reaches 175 degrees. (I cooked mine in my Big Green Egg and used some pecan and maple wood to give it a little smokey goodness)

Take out of grill, smoker or oven and let rest under foil for 45 minutes and then carve and enjoy.
