Stained Glass Cookies

   Mix the margarine (brought to room temperature) and sugar, add the beaten egg, and mix well.

   Add the sifted flour into Step 1, and mix with a spatula.

   Roll into a ball by hand at the end.

   Roll out the Step 2 dough to 3-5 mm thick with a rolling pin, and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter.

   Cut out the centres with a smaller cookie cutter, then place the candies inside.

   Bake in the preheated oven at 170C (340F) for 15-20 minutes.

   If the candies are not melting, adjust the baking time.

   You can use them as ornaments if the room is cool.
