Square Dance Cake

   Mix together sugar, nuts and cinnamon; set aside.

   Mix all other ingredients and beat 5 minutes.

   Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan (do not use glass).

   Pour 1/2 batter into pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of sugar mixture; add remaining batter and sprinkle remaining sugar mixture.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 30 minutes, then 30 to 40 minutes more at 325u00b0.
