Wash spinach and discard stems.

Dry as thoroughly as possible on absorbent paper and cut in small pieces.

Saute onion in 4 tablespoons butter until tender.

Cut fillo leaf to desired width and butter (cut leaf in half).

Fold 1 inch of the leaf over mixture; fold side edge in 1 inch and fold an angle, starting from lower right corner.

Keep folding in the shape of a triangle. Cut off any excess.
