1 pound Italian Sausage
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 whole Small Onion, Diced
2 cloves Garlic, Minced
1 can (14 Oz. Size) Diced Tomatoes
2 quarts Chicken Broth
1 cup Spinach
6 ounces, fluid Pastina Pasta (or Other Small Pasta)
Salt To Taste
Shaved Parmesan Cheese, For Topping (optional)

In a large stock pot, brown sausage until no longer pink.

Remove sausage with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Add olive oil and cook chopped onion until translucent and soft.
