Add the frozen sausage links to a large skillet over medium heat. Cook, turning occasionally, until fully cooked. Remove from pan and drain.

Crack eggs into a bowl and add milk if desired. Whisk well and then add to the pan. Season with salt, pepper and crushed red pepper (cayenne powder works as a substitute). Scramble eggs as they cook. Remove from heat once desired texture has been reached.

Warm tortillas either in the microwave (30 seconds or so) or in a skillet (warm on low heat until pliable).

Divide eggs, cheese and jalapenos evenly among the tortillas. Pile ingredients towards one edge. Add one sausage link to each tortilla. Roll tortillas tightly. Place taquitos seam side down on non-stick baking pan. Bake for six minutes. Remove from oven, flip taquitos over (seam side up; should remain sealed) and bake for additional six minutes or until golden brown. Remove from heat to cool. Serve plain or with picante sauce for dipping.
