½ cup couscous
1 ½ tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1 lb lean ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
¼ cup green pepper, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup raisins
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
12 mini pita pockets, whole wheat
¼ cup fresh parsley, snipped
1 pint plain yogurt

Place reserved tomato juice in a 4-cup measure.

Add enough water to measure 2/3 cup.

Microwave on HIGH (100%) power setting until boiling, 1-1/2 to 2 minutes.

Add couscous, chili powder, cumin and oregano and mix well.

Cover and set aside.

Combine beef, onion, green pepper and garlic in 3-quart casserole.

Microwave on HIGH until beef is no longer pink, 5-7 minutes, stirring once.
