["Place rice in a medium size bowl. Fill with water and let the rice sit for at least half an hour. Drain and rinse the rice 2 or 3 times. Drain again completely and place the rice in a wide pot with the turmeric, salt and water. Cover and cook the rice on medium heat for about 10 minutes until the water has evaporated then lower the heat and cook for another 10 minutes or so until the rice is done. Take the pot off the heat and mix in the flour in 3 batches until it is incorporated with the rice.
