Beat sugar, oil and eggs until blended. Add flour, soda, cinnamon and salt mixture gradually. Stir in vanilla, apples and nuts. Spread in 9 x 13-inch oiled baking dish. Bake at 350u00b0 for 40 minutes or until it pulls from the sides of pan. Spread with Maple Frosting while cake is still warm. May be topped with additional nuts.
