Ingredients: 1 12 lbs . ground turkey; 1 teaspoon salt; 2 onions, finely chopped, divided; 2 garlic cloves, minced, divided; 1 tablespoon paprika; 1 cup roasted red pepper, chopped, divided; ½ cup breadcrumbs; 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped; 1 egg; 1 tablespoon olive oil; 1 (454 g) can diced tomatoes; 4 cups tomato juice; 2 tablespoons granulated sugar; 1 teaspoon hot sauce; 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce; 2 cups basmati rice; 6 saffron threads

½ cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
1 egg
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 (454 g) can diced tomatoes
4 cups tomato juice
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups basmati rice
6 saffron threads

In a large bowl, combine turkey, salt , half the chopped onions, half the garlic, paprika, 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, breadcrumbs, parsley and egg.

Mix turkey until well combined and set aside.

In a large pot on medium, heat oil and saute remaining onions until transparent.

Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer.

With slightly damp hands, form turkey mixture into meatballs, approximately 2 tablespoons in size.

Gently drop meatballs into simmering sauce until all the turkey mixture is finished.

Cover pot and let simmer on low for 1 hour or until meatballs ore cooked through.

TO MAKE RICE:.

Follow package directions, adding saffron threads to water.
