1 can (28 Ounce) Good Quality Fire-roasted Tomatoes (or Equal Amount Of Home Roasted Tomatoes)
1 can 8 Ounce) Tomato Sauce
1 Tablespoon Finely Chopped Fresh Basil Or 1 Teaspoon Dried Basil
2 teaspoons Finely Chopped Fresh Oregano Or 1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
3 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley Or 1 Tablespoon Dried Parsley
1/2 teaspoons Powdered Or Granulated Garlic
1/2 teaspoons Powdered Or Grandulated Onion
Salt To Taste
1/2 pounds Whole Wheat Spaghetti Noodles
Finely Grated Parmesan Cheese

Over medium heat, cook the sausage, onion, and garlic together in a deep frying pan or a saucepan.

If you choose to use red pepper flakes, add them while you are cooking the sausage.

Dont use it if the sausage is a spicy Italian sausage.)

Drain the grease from the pan.

Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, oregano, parsley, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Stir and bring to a simmer over medium heat.

Put a lid on the pan and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Adjust seasonings and add salt if needed.

While the sauce is simmering prepare the spaghetti noodles according to package directions.

Dont forget to salt the water!

When its done, drain the pasta.

To serve, top a plate full of the pasta with sauce.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
