1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. dried basil

Brown ground beef; add onion and garlic (minced) until limp. Cook Italian sausage.

Reduce heat and simmer at least 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
