Knead on lightly floured board until smooth and elastic, 4 to 6 minutes.

Divide dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll into smooth ball.

Place on greased baking sheet. Fill a shallow pan 1/2 full with boiling water.

Place baking sheet on pan to rise 20 minutes.

Make 6 (3/4-inch) snips around edge.

Beat remaining egg. Brush on rolls. Sprinkle with seed. Bake at 400u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
