Sour Cream Apple Squares

   Preheat oven to 350u00b0.

   In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and butter.

   Blend at low speed until crumbly.

   Stir in nuts.

   Press 2 3/4 cups crumb mix into ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan. To remaining mix add cinnamon, soda, salt, sour cream, vanilla and egg.

   Blend well.

   Mix in apples.

   Spoon evenly over base.

   Bake 25 to 35 minutes.

    Cut into squares.
