Prep: Preheat oven to 400u00b0F. Prepare cookie tray with silicon baking mat, parchment paper, cooking spray or you can use a non-stick pan.

In a medium sized bowl stir butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and salt until well mixed.

Add in the flour and mix well to create a soft dough.

Roll dough into 1 inch balls. (make all same size so they cook evenly)

Bake 15-17 minutes in oven. (they are done when the bottom of cookie is a golden brown color)

Remove from oven. While cookies are still hot, take a few at a time and roll in powdered sugar. Coat the whole cookie in the sugar (you can do this with tongs to prevent your fingers being burned) then place on baking rack to cool.

Allow cookies to cool for 20 minutes.

When cool, do a final coating of powdered sugar as instructed previously.

Place cookies on serving dish or in storage container.
