Snicker Doodle Cookies

   Preheat oven to 350u00b0F. Whisk together the butter and brown sugar until creamy. Stir in the eggs one at a time, add the flour, cream of tartar, baking powder, ginger and pinch of salt. Knead to a smooth dough.

   Mix together the white sugar and cinnamon. Shape the dough into walnut sized balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar. Place on a lined baking sheet about 4 inches apart and bake for 8-10 minutes. They will feel soft when removed from the oven but they are done.

   Remove from oven, sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar and leave to cool.
