Slow Cooker Rotisserie Chicken

   Prepare chicken by removing package of giblets and cleaning inside the cavity of the chicken with cold running water.

   Rinse off the chicken and pat dry with a paper towel.

   Ball up 4 pieces of foil into 1balls and place in the bottom of your slow cooker.

   Place chicken on top of the foil balls, breast side up.

   Mix paprika, seasoning salt and oil in a small bowl, adjusting seasonings to taste.

   Baste over the top and sides of the chicken, making sure to cover the legs as well.

   Place the cover on the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 6 to 8 hours, or until it reaches 165 degrees F on a meat thermometer.

   Note: When I use my slow cooker, it usually only takes about 6 hours, and I allow it to sit on WARM for an additional hour or so, depending on our day.

   The extra time just allows it to soak up the yummy spices, and the foil keeps the chicken from getting stuck to the bottom of my slow cooker.
