cook for 6 hours then remove from oven be very careful its going to be very hot

remove foil and pour barbeque sauce over the brisket replace uncovered brisket back in oven for another 45 minutes

check in the thickest part of brisket with a meat thermometer for a temp between 175 degreese medium well or 185F well done

remove brisket and let set for 20 minutes.
