Heat oven to 400u00b0F Caramelize onions in skillet with butter on medium-low until golden and translucent (not brown), adding a pinch of white sugar about halfway through. Remove from heat, pour into ungreased 13x9x2 casserole dish.

Add beef to skillet, cook until brown, drain and rinse meat, add to casserole dish and mix well with onions, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard powder, and tomato sauce.

In a medium bowl, stir baking mix, milk and eggs with fork until just blended (do not over mix). See my other recipe for baking mix if you don't want to use Bisquick.

Carefully pour topping over beef -- VERY SLOWLY -- so it stays on top. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and paprika for garnish.

Bake 20-25 minutes or until light golden brown. Cut into squares and serve. Freezes and reheats beautifully.
