Simple Alfredo Sauce

   In a 2-quart saucepan, melt your butter over medium heat.

   When its about halfway melted, add your garlic.

   When completely melted, stir in your cream.

   Whisk occasionally as it heats to blend the cream and butter.

   When its just about to simmer, add 1/2 cup of the shredded parmesan, whisking until melted (about 3 minutes).

   Be sure to keep whisking so the cheese doesnt stick to the bottom of the pan.

   Repeat with the remaining parmesan, adding half a cup at a time.

   Viola!

   Your alfredo sauce is complete.

    Add a pinch of pepper if you wish and serve over your favorite pasta.
