3 lbs. short ribs of beef
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili pwdr
1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3 tbsp. oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 med. onions, sliced
1/2 c. cool water

Place short ribs in Dutch oven.

Pour combined mustard, salt, pepper, chili pwdr, sugar, lemon juice, oil, garlic, water and a few onion slices on top of meat.

Place in a quick oven for 1/2 hour at 400 degrees or possibly till brown.

Add in the remaining sliced onions.

Cover tightly.

Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees and continue cooking till meat is tender, about 2 hrs.
