In small saucepan combine 7-Grain cereal and 1 c. water.

Cook covered, 20 min.

Stir in 1 c. water, butter, honey and salt.

Cold to lukewarm.

In large mixer bowl combine 2 c. of the flour and the yeast.

Add in cereal mix and the 2 Large eggs.

Beat at low speed with electric mixer for 1/2 minute scraping sides of bowl constantly.

Beat 3 min at high speed.

By hand, stir in sufficient of the remaining flour to make a soft dough.

Turn out onto lightly floured surface and knead till smooth and elastic (5-8 min).

Shape dough in ball.

Place dough in lightly greased bowl, turning once to grease surface.

Cover and let rise in hot place till doubled (1-1 1/4 hrs).

Punch dough down, turn out on lightly floured surface.

Divide in half.

Let rest 10 min.

Shape into two loaves and place in two greased loaf pans.

Let rise in hot place till double (45-60 minute).

Combine egg yolk with 1 Tbsp.

water; brush on tops of loaves.

Sprinkle with seed, if you like.

Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 min.
