1/2 c. shortening

1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. cold water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

In separate container, cream together shortening and sugars.
