Scottish Steak Pie(Scotland)

   Brown and cook steak, onion and carrots half through.

   Place meat, onion, carrots and potatoes in layers in buttered casserole. Add a little water to keep from sticking.

   Season.

   Cover with flaky pie crust.

   Bake at 325u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

   Canned tomatoes may be substituted for water.
