   Cook sausage and drain.

   Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and mayonnaise.

   Stir sausage and cheese into flour mixture.

   Make a well and add buttermilk all at once, using fork to stir to moisten.

   Turn out on floured surface.

   Knead and pat dough out 3/4-inch thick.

   Cut and bake on a cookie sheet at 400u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
