Savoury Drumsticks

   Make two cuts in the fleshy part of the meat.

   Mix the soy sauce, honey and lemon juice in a non-metallic dish.

   Add the drumsticks and turn them in the marinade.

   Cover and chill for 1-3 hours, turning the drumsticks in the marinade occasionally.

   Preheat the oven to 190C/170C/Gas 5.

   Grease a large roasting tin with oil.

   Lift the drumsticks out of the marinade and put into the tin a single layer.

   Cook in the oven for 25-30 minutes, brushing them with more marinade halfway through.

   Leave to cool, then chill until ready to pack.
