1 pound lentils
10 c. water
1 lg. minced onion
1 pound smoked sausage
1 bay leaf
1 dash marjoram
2 dashes pepper
2 grated carrots
2 stalks minced celery
3 lg. potatoes, minced
1/4 c. dry parsley
Salt to taste

Wash and rinse 1 lb.

Add in water to lentils in large pot.

Add in onion, sausage, marjoram, bay leaf and pepper.

Cover and bring to a boil.

Simmer 2 hrs, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat.
