Ingredients: 1 (9 x 13-inch) pan cornbread; 4 to 6 c. bread; 1 lb. bulk pork sausage; 1/4 c. margarine; 1 large onion, chopped; 1 1/2 c. chopped celery; 7 eggs, slightly beaten; salt and pepper to taste; 1/2 tsp. sage or to taste; 4 to 5 c. chicken broth or bouillon; 1 c. raisins (if desired)

4 to 6 c. bread
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/4 c. margarine
1 large onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
7 eggs, slightly beaten
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. sage or to taste
4 to 5 c. chicken broth or bouillon
1 c. raisins (if desired)

Crumble cornbread and moistened bread in a large bowl; set aside.

Brown sausage slowly, adding margarine, onion and celery. Cook until onion is tender.

Pour over bread mixture.

Add eggs, seasonings and about 2 cups of broth.

Mix well, adding more broth until all is soft and moist.
