2 cans kidney beans

2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 beef cubes
1 c. boiling water
4 medium potatoes, quartered

Cook sausage (in bite-size pieces) and beef chuck in 1-inch pieces in 2 tablespoons melted shortening.

Place in a casserole. Cook onion in fat until transparent.
