Onion- layer slices of onion across bottom of casserole dish.

Country Style Pork Ribs-rinse and pat dry pork chops set aside.

in medium flat bowl, beat egg and milk together.

in a brown bag (or bowl) mix sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, basil, and Panko breadcrumbs, mix together.

dip meat in egg mixture then cover in breadcrumb mixture, either by shaking in bag or by coating in a shallow dish both sides of chops.

Heat to medium heat a large frypan, with the olive oil or sprayed with Pam.

Sear country ribs til slightly browned and set into a casserole dish.

(ribs may overlap some).

Topping-Once completed, put an apple half on top of each rib, cored side up.

( a mini well should be in each apple from coring),.

fill cored apple with apricot preserves divided evenly among the apples.

Sprinkle with cinnamon.

add in water, cover casserole dish with cover or tin foil.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minute.

Let sit for 5 minutes before serving so the juices can relax.

NOTE-Times may need to be adjusted depending on the thickenss of the meat.

I prepared 3/4 to 1 inch Country Style Ribs- blade steak cut for this meal.

You may also just add in chopped apples and drizzle with the preserves.
