½ cup butter

Bake in a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees - start checking the cake at 60 minutes to check for doneness and after that in 10 minute intervals.

To make frosting: Pour all ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Boil for an additional 2-3 minutes - stir constantly!

Pour the frosting over the hot cake - I let it cool just a bit before pouring the frosting on.
