Santa Claus Milk

   Combine 4 cups milk with cinnamon stick and cloves in a saucepan; cook over medium heat 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

   (Heat thoroughly, but do not boil.)

   Remove and discard cinnamon and cloves.

   Combine sugar and cornstarch; add 2 tablespoons cold milk, stirring until smooth.

   Add to hot milk mixture, stirring constantly; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

   Ladle into mugs, and sprinkle with nutmeg.

   Serve immediately.
