Salmorejo Cordobes: Cold Tomato Soup From Cordoba

   Wash, stem and crush the tomatoes.

   Strain to remove the skin and seeds.

   Add the bread to the tomatoes and soak for 10 minutes.

   Add the tomatoes, bread, garlic, and oil to a blender and puree until smooth. Thin with water if the sauce is too thick.

   Season with salt. Plate and add the ham and hard-boiled egg.
