   1.Saute onions, meat and spices in the butter until browned. Mix tomato paste, water, garlic, and lemon juice. Simmer until meat is tender. Add green bean and peas. Heat for 15 min. Serve over cooked rice.

   3.In deep pan, brown vermicelli (or rice) in butter, stirring often. Add remaining rice, salt, and water. Stir. Cover and cook until rice is done about 20 min.

   4.Note: if using a rice cooker. In a skillet brown vermicelli or 1/2 cup rice in butter. Transfer to rice cooker. Add the remaining rice and water. Start rice cooker.
