3/4 cup golden raisins
1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum
1/4 teaspoon salt

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream the shortening and sugar, mixing on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
