Rice Pudding (Custard)

   Mix the rice and raisins in the bottom of a buttered baking dish.

   Mix the other ingredients and pour over the top of the rice and raisins.

   Place baking dish in a shallow pan of water and bake in a 425u00b0 oven for 15 minutes and in a 375u00b0 oven for the rest of the baking time (about 1 hour total).

   Test like custard with a knife for doneness.
