Drain artichoke hearts and chop into small pieces, set aside.

Finely chop green onions, including tops.

Heat olive oil in frying pan.

Saute onions, garlic and mushrooms 5-10 minute.

Stir in flour, cook slowly 3 min, stirring constantly.

Add chicken and cook until fully warmed/browning.

Meanwhile, in large pot, bring half and half (or milk), wine and broth to just before rolling boil.

Heat slowly on medium 5 min until starts to thicken; reduce heat to low, add artichoke hearts, pepper, salt and nutmeg.

Simmer 15 minute.

Remove from heat and cool 15 min to thicken.
