Real Scotch Shortbread

   Cream butter until light.

   Add flour, sugar and salt.

   Beat until stiff.

   Divide dough.

   Roll out between 2 sheets of wax paper to 1/4-inch thickness.

   Cut into shapes and lift with spatula.
