Ranger Steak

   In large skillet:

   Place layer of bacon, cut into bite size pieces, layer of round steak (1/2-inch pieces), layer of onion, sliced, layer of carrots, sliced, layer of potatoes, sliced and salt and pepper to taste.

   Brown 3 minutes.

   Add 1 cup water. Simmer 1 hour.
