Name: Pta Mincemeat Cookies

Ingredients: 1 3/4 c. sifted flour; 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder; 1/4 tsp. salt; 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter; 3/4 c. sugar; 1 egg (plus 1 yolk); 1 tsp. vanilla; 1 (9 oz.) pkg mincemeat; 1 egg white, slightly beaten; 1/4 c. sugar

Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until fluffy.

Break mincemeat into bits and add to creamed mixture with dry ingredients.

Blend, don't beat.

Chill in refrigerator about 2 hours.

Shape into 1-inch balls; dip in egg white and sugar.

Bake on greased sheet for 10-12 minutes at 400u00b0.
