1/4 c. minced onion
2 teaspoon flour
1 teaspoon salt
Pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
2/3 c. water
1 pound frankfurters
4 c. thinly sliced raw potatoes
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
Green beans or possibly any canned vegetable (opt.)

In a frying pan cook onion in oil till brown.

In a bowl mix flour, sugar and seasonings; blend thoroughly into onion mix.

Add in water, bring to a boil.

Split frankfurters lengthwise, cut twice crosswise.

In a casserole arrange alternate layers of potatoes, frankfurters and optional vegetables.

Pour the sauce over the top; cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 min.

Remove from oven.

Pour vinegar over the potatoes and frankfurters, cover and return to oven for 5 min.
