1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1/2 lb. sausage
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 c. bread crumbs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 medium onion, minced
mashed potatoes
melted butter

Mix all ingredients, except potatoes and butter.

Let stand 10 minutes. Drain off liquid and turn meat onto ovenproof platter.
