   Saute/fry onion and garlic in the butter till onion is clear and soft.

   Add in 2 c. water and the potatoes.

   Simmer, covered, till potatoes start to soften.

   Wash kale and chop; steam kale separately.

    When potatoes are well done, puree half of them with remaining water.

    Combine all ingredients.

    Add in salt and pepper.
